Who needs CQR?
Continuing Qualifications Requirements (CQR) apply to technologists who earned their ARRT credentials on or after January 1, 2011, and to all R.R.A.s. CQR is completed once every 10 years. If you earned a credential before January 1, 2011, CQR does not apply to that credential.

Will these courses count for my state license?
Every course is ARRT accepted and counts toward license renewal in every state. California is the one state with exceptions: most courses are accepted for CRTs and XTs, and the few that aren't are marked. Choose your state in the course catalog to see exactly what applies to you.
Do you report my credits to my state?
Yes, for four states. In the first week of each month we report the previous month's completions: Florida directly to the Florida Department of Health, Bureau of Radiation Control, and Texas, Kansas and New Hampshire to CE Broker. Your license number must be entered in your dashboard (Settings) for us to report it. Licensed somewhere else? Keep your certificates for your renewal.
How does the test work?
Every test is open book: keep the reading open while you answer. You need 75% to pass and get 3 attempts. Your certificate is ready to download the moment you pass.
What do I need for ARRT?
ARRT requires 24 CE credits every two years. You report your CE when you renew; keep your certificates, which list each course's approval reference number in case you're selected for an audit.
Do I need CQR?
Continuing Qualifications Requirements (CQR) apply to technologists who earned their ARRT credentials on or after January 1, 2011, and to all R.R.A.s, once every 10 years. Our CQR calculator shows which courses cover your prescription. Details are on ARRT.org.
How long do I have access?
Complete each course before its expiration date, which is listed on the course detail page. Courses are usually renewed, but some are retired. The Unlimited plan gives you every course for one year for $50.
What if I am not happy with a course?
We'll refund your course, or swap it for another, any time before a certificate is issued. The same goes for the Unlimited plan: full refund if you haven't earned a certificate yet.
