This course covers the full range of obstetric and gynecological ultrasound examinations and combines the practicalities of how to perform these examinations. Topics include: The principles of grey scale ultrasound, Doppler ultrasound and instrumentation. Provides comparative images showing results of good and bad scanning techniques. Advises on how to communicate findings to a pregnant woman or gynecological patient, and discusses both the normal and abnormal ultrasound appearances for each of the relevant anatomical areas together. This course is ideal for both the trainee and experienced sonographer.
